Am 10. Juni 2017 ist es wieder soweit – der Life Ball findet wie immer vor und im Wiener Rathaus statt. In seiner 24. Auflage folgt das Event dem Thema "Recognize the danger". Als Vorbild dient die Zeit rund um das Ende der 20er und Anfang der 30er Jahre. In dieser Zeit waren bereits die Anzeichen des drohenden Unheils spürbar – das spiegelt sich auch in der Life Bible wider. Die starke gesellschaftspolitische Botschaft wird durch den Kontrast zwischen der schwarz-weißen Welt und der bunten Life Ball Welt deutlich.

The famous Life Ball will take place on 10 June 2017 in and around Vienna City Hall.
Life Ball is one of the world’s biggest AIDS charity events. Ever since its debut in 1993, the annual event has been committed to removing taboos and constantly fighting against HIV and AIDS, as well as addressing socio-political issues surrounding the virus. The net profit of the 23rd Life Ball in 2015, 2.3 million Euros, was donated to national and international HIV and AIDS projects. These national and international aid projects received additional funding and support in 2016.
